Angela Polk-Bass is a Worship Leader and Director, Human Resources and Learning with the desire to share God’s incomparable greatness and faithfulness through her music, songwriting, and instruction. By day, she is a human resource and learning executive interested in exploring spirituality. Above all else, Angela is a wife, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend.

Angela served as a worship leader at The Park Ministries South Charlotte, NC, for five years, under the visionary leadership of Bishop Claude R. Alexander Jr. There, she was able to develop an approach to praise and worship that prompted the hearts of listeners to consider the Supremacy of God’s plans for their lives.
Midway through the production of her debut album, Angela relocated back to Southern California for a Human Resources opportunity that included launching SportsNet, SportsNetLA, and the Spectrum News 1 linear TV channels, moving her closer to her aging parents and family after nearly 17 years away. While she was happy to be close to family, she was genuinely saddened by what appeared to be the end of her music ministry.

By the sovereignty of God, Angela joined the worship team at Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, CA, where Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer is the exemplary presiding Bishop. Shortly after connecting with the team, Angela felt compelled to complete and share her first music ministry assignment.

The title song, “Supreme and Ultimate God,” is a call to worship and a reminder for Angela and the body of Christ to submit and surrender to the will of God. Of this song, Angela states, “My life verse is Jeremiah 29:11, ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ I repeat this verse regularly as a reminder that God is in control and that his plans for me are better than my own good plans.”

Angela, like most, has faced numerous disappointments. Having lived, learned, and acknowledged where her choices welcomed some of her troubles, she remains humbled by the saving grace and mercy of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Angela hopes the songs on her debut and future albums will inspire the hearts of unbelievers to bend toward God, encourage those unsettled in their faith to trust Christ, and assist worshippers worldwide in offering God the praise and honor He desires and deserves.
